One bike. 10 hours. One incredible team.

Your challenge is simple: keep your team’s bike moving for 10 hours.

Register a team of up to 10 people and decide how you’ll tackle the day. Ride for 20 minutes or two hours. Take turns. Play to your team’s strengths. Just make sure someone is ready to jump into the saddle when it’s their turn.

While your legs do the work, we’ll keep the rooftop buzzing with music, entertainment, food and a little healthy competition.

The bigger challenge?

What you can make possible for families.

Your team will receive its own fundraising page to share with friends, family and colleagues.

Raise $3,600 to secure your bike and help cover 20 nights of accommodation for a family with a seriously ill or injured child.

When a child needs hospital care, Ronald McDonald House helps families stay together and close to the care they need. Our Houses give families somewhere to stay at no cost, alongside meals, facilities and the support of staff and volunteers.

Staying safe

Your safety comes first.

Ride at a pace that’s appropriate for you, listen to your body and take breaks whenever you need them. Water will be available throughout the event, so make sure you stay hydrated.

If you feel dizzy or unwell at any stage, stop riding and let a volunteer or staff member know.

Take care when getting on and off your bike and adjust it to suit you before riding. Our instructors, staff and volunteers will be there throughout the day if you need a hand.

And if your whole team needs a breather? Ask one of our staff members to help keep your bike spinning.

Rally your team. Get on the bike. Help families stay together.

When a child is seriously ill or injured, families can suddenly find themselves far from home and everything familiar. Ronald McDonald House provides much more than somewhere to sleep. Families can find rest, warmth, meals and support while staying close to their child’s care.

By taking on Ride for Sick Kids, you’re helping make that possible.
