Ronald McDonald Houses
Our four Houses across Victoria and Tasmania allow families to stay together close to the hospital, and remain at the heart of their child’s care.
Families have access to private rooms, shared kitchens, laundry and meals, office spaces, play areas and welcoming communal spaces.
Supported by compassionate volunteers, staff and other families on similar journeys, we create a home away from home where families feel connected, strong and cared for.
Our Family Rooms are located inside major hospitals, steps away from paediatric or intensive care units, and exist for families of children undergoing treatment.
Run by our friendly volunteers, families can enjoy a cup of tea or a meal, play, take a shower, connect, or simply rest.
Our Learning Program assists school-aged children with serious illnesses and injuries to catch up on missed education following treatment and recovery. We support students with one‑to‑one tutoring, helping them stay engaged and build confidence, easing the return to school.
